The latest version of Redhand confirms RedHand as a leading provider of IP software for networked CCTV. The system supports the older style analogue cameras, as well as a wide range of IP cameras including the latest mega pixel devices, that can be wired or wireless. Variable stream frame rates are offered up to the maximum that the camera can deliver. An intelligent Viewer module makes it easy to locate and manage the pictures. If required, all the images from various cameras can be locked together chronologically. An incident can then be viewed exactly as it happened, on any networked PC. The automatic transmission of live pictures via the Internet can also provide real evidence that a break in or any other breach of security is taking place. There is no limit to the number cameras that can be installed and Power over Ethernet functionality can reduce installation costs.
