A CCTV system is only useful if it is working the day the police ask for footage. Our maintenance agreements keep council systems reliable for years, with one number to call and no surprise bills.

1) What a maintenance agreement covers

  • Scheduled visits to check cameras, lenses, wireless links and recorders, and clean and re-aim where needed.
  • Fault response when something stops working, with remote diagnosis first so many problems are fixed without a visit.
  • Software support for the people using the system – exporting footage, adding users, changing views.
  • Advice on upgrades and expansion as the town's needs change.

2) Systems we did not install

We take on maintenance of existing town centre systems too, including ones handed down from district councils. We start with a health check so you know what you have got and what is worth keeping.

3) Why councils value it

Councillors like a fixed, budgetable annual figure. Clerks like having one specialist to ring who already knows the town and the system. The police like footage that is actually there when they need it.

4) Simple terms

Agreements are written in plain English, priced for the size of the system, and can be reviewed annually. No long lock-ins.

5) Common questions

5.1) How much does maintenance cost?

It depends on the number of cameras and the level of response the council wants. We give a fixed annual price in the proposal so it can go straight into the budget.

5.2) What if a camera fails?

Ring us. We diagnose remotely first, and if a visit is needed we tell you when we will be there. Most faults are fixed on the first visit.
